Iaquin

The Iaquin Wine Company is the fruit of many years of work by Uroš Jakončič, a passionate winemaker from the edge of Goriška Brda. Both he and his vineyard are based in Vipolže, a place characterised by a benevolent microclimate and an authentic wine identity.

In addition to rebula, you will also see chardonnay, malvasia, merlot, cabernet sauvignon and Uroš's favourite - sauvignonasse - on the Jakončič family estate.

The independent winemaker says that most of the work is indeed done in the vineyard, but in the pinch that the winery represents, the winemaker's touch comes out.
